In short, we guide business through science and we’ve been doing this since 1977.Position Overview: The Senior Manager will be responsible for our client services in the Automotive Aftersales Performance Management area.

This influential role is focused on client management, relationship building, project management and presentation of analysis and business improvement concepts to senior level management.

The Senior Manager must also possess client facing experience as well as data analysis, team and project management, and some database related technical skills/knowledge.

Automotive Industry experience required (preferably in Aftersales arena) Intermediate SQL skills, importing/exporting and querying data from SQL server, are required for this role.+ Leads expert team that conducts market and sales analysis, as well as audits data and adheres to processes for data quality for assigned clients.+ Assumes responsibility for project outcomes, including delivery of projects that are on time, within budget and at an exceptional level of quality; includes accurately defining project timelines, forecasting, planning, tracking, executing, and taking corrective action when needed.+ Assumes responsibility for accurate and high-quality data being utilized on assigned projects.

Adheres to quality control standards for Urban Science and client organizations.+ Works with clients on a regular basis to ensure that dealers are provided with the tools necessary to improve their busines.+ Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the Urban Science solutions and applies that knowledge to better meet client needs.+ Frequently interacts with clients to provide consulting advice, design and present proposals, negotiate agreements, renew contracts, assist with decision making and manage client expectations.+ Acquires and maintains a thorough understanding of client data and information in order to properly create client deliverables and provide added, insightful solutions to address client needs.+ Serves as liaison between client and Urban Science technical staff on development projects to clearly communicate client needs and facilitate appropriate deliverable time frames based on internal capabilities and workload.+ Partners with internal teams to ensure that software is properly installed, set up and functioning at established quality levels.+ Manages sustainment activities by updating software as appropriate to function at established quality levels.+ Provides valuable knowledge and insight to senior management in creating estimates and proposals for clients.+ Establishes long-term business relationships with clients and develops a firm understanding of client’s business needs in order to sell upgrades to existing contracts, and lead negotiations to renew & deliver client contracts.+ Clearly and confidently presents project status updates/conclusions, using appropriate presentation tools, to client representatives or internal management to communicate project results.+ Works with Account Manager to review income statements, revenues, margins, labor and profitability targets; assists in making recommendations to improve profitability and accurately forecast costs.+ Responsible for all aspects of RSTMM (recruit, select, train, manage, motivate) of selected staff.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
