Centric is expanding within Southeastern Michigan and we are looking for an experienced Senior manager to join our Detroit Team.

In this role, you will:

Delivery

  • Be responsible for successfully managing and delivering the full life cycle of large, complex projects.
  • Be accountable for driving solution leadership and/or people/project management across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Measure, monitor, and manage to critical project status to support both client and Centric needs.
  • Demonstrate successful creation, implementation, and execution of defined plans.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engagement solutions that align with leading best practices and client requirements.
  • Plan, organize, and manage multiple, complex activities within and/or across projects by using working knowledge of several subject matters.

Business Development

  • Provide business development leadership on an as needed basis within the existing client and/or in support of areas of expertise in new clients.
  • Be willing and able to lead account management activities for at least one client.
  • Effectively communicate Centric’s offerings and plans for strategic growth.
  • Effectively network and build relationships with client leadership in areas outside of the immediate project responsibilities.

Practice Management

  • Drive Centric growth and continuous operational improvements.
  • Actively maintain a connection to Centric through participation in formal and informal events outside of client activities.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of subordinates and/or subcontractors while providing timely performance feedback that ensures delivery excellence and supports the ongoing development of all team members.
  • Build strong client and Centric working relationships across team members that foster a collaborative, high energy working environment.

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Project leadership in business consulting (e.g.

    process improvement, change management), in technology consulting (e.g.

    data & analytics, customer application development, ERP, CRM, enterprise collaboration, customer experience) or equivalent experience coming from industry are preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide delivery, support business development, and practice management across multiple projects and situations simultaneously.
  • Ability to show flexibility in the type, duration, and nature of client delivery roles.
  • Client and team management skills, in addition to a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Excitement around knowledge sharing, and the desire to mentor others.
  • Solid Agile experience is strongly preferred.
