Senior Account Manager

This is a Full-time position in Mount Pleasant, MI, United States, MI posted October 12, 2021.

The Senior Account Manager is one of the primary business contacts for Clients.

The Senior Account Management role has the following responsibilities:
– Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with Clients, carriers and vendors
– Demonstrates an understanding of the Clients’ business, strategic priorities, risk strategies and employee benefit needs
– Oversees the servicing of a designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims and administration
– Develops and presents plan and renewal terms to Client.

This includes analyzing quotes, negotiating with carriers and presenting recommendations.
– Monitor and research market trends, carrier product offerings and information that will increase their knowledge of the insurance industry, our clients and market verticals;
– Monitors and aligns functional strategy to emphasize innovation, continuous improvement and anticipation of Client, Business and industry needs and trends
– Plans for contingencies and demonstrates effective and timely decision making, using business knowledge and data to take appropriate risks
– Proactive in communication, conflict management and managing program timelines
– Recommends and implements potential enhancements or improvements to processes, products and /or policies
– Demonstrates financial acumen through analysis, interpretation and presentation of data, to identify problems and solutions
– Ability to serve as the account lead on less complex mid-market accounts under the supervision of an Advisor
– Fosters an environment of learning, innovation, motivating others, intelligent risk-taking, knowledge sharing and commitment to Lockton’s vision and strategy
