of Role:
As a General Manager you will oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve our stated objectives in sales, cost control, profit, team member retention, guest service and satisfaction, food and beverage quality, and overall restaurant cleanliness and sanitation.
Core Job Duties & Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.

Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and warm service at all times.

Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of team members and creating a positive, productive working environment.

Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.

Make all final employment and termination decisions for hourly team members.

Fill in where needed and assist all team members to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

Continually strive to develop the team in all areas of managerial and professional development.

Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.

Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.

Schedule labor as required by Sales Forecasts while ensuring that all positions are scheduled when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.

Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding team members and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

Use Performance Agreements consistently for documentation and as a tool to coach and counsel team members.

Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, team members and guests.

Develop, plan and carry out local store marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns.

Provide advice and suggestions to the Chief Executive Officer and Owners as needed to improve overall operations.
Be at least 21 years old.

Have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree or have an equivalent combination of education and experience Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s operating area.

Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, with at least five years of experience as salaried manager in full service, casual dining.

Experience with full service alcohol serving facilities.

Proven record of effectively controlling costs and maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food and beverage quality, and guest satisfaction.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating team members P&L knowledge and sales building highly desirable Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.

Have basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office and the use of email.

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Must have the stamina to work 10 to 12 hour shifts when necessary and 55 to 60 hours per week on a 5 day work week.
