Description:

The Assistant Manager of Meat & Seafood is responsible for the exceptional execution of Guest Service by the entire Department. In conjunction with the Meat & Seafood Team Leader, they are responsible for holding Team Members accountable to achieve the highest level of Guest satisfaction and leading the Team to success. They are responsible for managing department inventory, margin, labor budgets, pricing integrity and merchandising standards. They will ensure Team Members receive proper training and supervision regarding product knowledge, proper rotation, storage, merchandising standards, building displays and proper opening and closing procedures.

What you will bring:

Previous Meat & Seafood knowledge and experience.

Exceptional knife skills.

Ability to manage multiple detailed and consistently updated essential documents simultaneously, including order guides, logs, SOPs, and further.

Ability to collaborate closely with Team Leader on any and all issues related to purchasing, project execution, and conditions on the sales floor.

Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break – we work on the floor, and alongside our team.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
