MassMutual Great Lakes (MMGL) is a leading Insurance and Wealth Management firm in Michigan, committed to the success of our advisors and the service we deliver to our clients.We are looking to hire a dynamic Marketing and Strategy Director to join our enthusiastic, strategic, and creative marketing team that possesses an overarching passion to innovate within the financial services industry.

We are seeking an individual to create revolutionary marketing campaigns to support a premier brand presence that inspires humans to react.

A preferred requirement is to have and understanding in the financial services industry including compiance, ect.

This position is based out of the network office in Southfield, MI.What you will do:
· Manage, mentor and lead MMGL Brand, Content and Storytelling team reporting directly into Firm President/CEO
· Develop strong relationships and collaborate with executive leadership team
· Create innovative strategies and marketing campaigns to provide financial solutions and sell the career
· Drive the brand forward in a highly regulated and competitive field
· Oversee various initiatives across events, sponsorships, digital, print and social spacesRepresent the brand’s vision, mission and core values around community events, activations and campaigns across our digital channels to build awareness and drive engagement with current clients, prospects and recruits
· Develop a detailed social media strategy
· Become a subject matter expert in our business, immersing yourself in our history, competitive landscape, and objectives/goals moving forward
· Manage overall marketing budgetsWho you are:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 7-10 years of experience in marketing or related disciplines
· Passionate individual with an intimate knowledge of the current landscape and trends in social media
· Demonstrates initiative, integrity, professionalism and thought leadership
· Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills, at all levels of an organization
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from across the business, as well as from external partners
· Quality and detail-focused approach
· Strong and sound business judgement when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business
· Identifies and analyzes problems; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information
