XTRA Lease is seeking a product expert, knowledgeable in semi-trailer specifications and manufacturing, to join our Operations team in our St.

Louis headquarters office.As a Manager of Equipment Services, you will:Issue bids for new equipment purchases for our 48 branch locationsObtain new equipment quote requestsRespond to questions from our employees or repair vendors about repairs, adhering to our industry-leading repair standardsProcess purchase orders for all equipmentAssign new units for leaseManage the disposal of assetsResearch and authorize repairs over branch limitsPerform equipment inspections at the manufacturer prior to release into our inventoryVisit customer sites to review major damage and provide guidance on repair or disposalManage tire asset inventories and orderingBe responsible for updating product spec documentationServe as backup to other Operations functions,including traffic and equipment trackingManage CARB ID compliance programPerform monthly reporting for branch operationsJob RequirementsEducationBachelor’s DegreeKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceExpert knowledge of how to spec, maintain and repair semi-trailersFive years’ experience working with semi-trailersProficient in Microsoft Office productsOrganized and detail-orientedAbility to multi-task and manage to deadlinesAbility to interact with branch network, trailer OEMs and component suppliers and maintenance vendorsCritical thinkingOther RequirementsSome travel requiredRegular, moderate activity (standing, walking,climbing, squatting, kneeling, lying down)Lifting up to 50 lbsSitting for periods of timeViewing computer terminal/screen
