Information Technology Manager

Our client is seeking an IT Manager/Lead candidateThis is a direct hire opportunity.Location is Wixom, MI and it is 100% onsiteTOP 3 Skills that need to be highlighted/Notes from Manager:· IT Support in manufacturing environment· ERP Systems Support and training (client uses Epicor but open to experience with any ERP system)· Hands on experience supporting networks, servers and PCs – Smaller environment and will be very hands on despite manager titleJOB DESCRIPTION:Oversight of IT Operations for manufacturing plant and corporate office. Support IT resources which includes maintenance of hardware and software and also maintains organization and tracking of day to day support activities. ERP systems support and maintenance.Essential Functions• Ensure operating systems and procedures are in place for all functions• Conducts MRP-ERP training and ERP support, preferably Epicor• Perform network maintenance and upgrades (users, and network backups)• Perform PC (hardware, software and printer) setup, support and maintenance• Recommend technology as needed to support business operations• Ensure set up for cabling and connections for new employees and employee moves• MRP-ERP training and support• Maintaining EDI server• Perform user training and assistance related to functionality of PC software applications and network• Regulate system backups• Regulate organization of lot racking system and perform maintenance and upgrade as neededMinimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field• 5+ years of experience supporting IT Operations in manufacturing setting• Experience supporting ERP systems• Experienced knowledge in Microsoft Office Professional
