This driving positions works directly for an Owner Operator, Family Owned and Managed, Owners drive to small company operated out of Taylor, Mi. We offer medical benefits (we pay 55%), vacation, and paid holidays. Applicant will need to be accepted through CEVA Logistic criteria – background must have clear driving history and NO felonies, active DOT card, and of course the ability to pass a drug screen any time.

Job works Monday through Friday, 5-6am start through 12-3pm end time depending on daily assignment. Saturdays optional when available. All hours over 40 pay time and a half. Guarantee $1000 per week. Dedicated day cab per driver, with some exceptions for maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include pickups and deliveries as dispatched by CEVA and approved by owners. Freight typically consists of any of the following: retail store deliveries by pallet jack (approximately 25 skids per day, 1 trailer, 3 stores), RV pieces, skids of computers, doors (loaded and strapped in dry van by dock workers), and some no touch freight. Daily responsibilities determined and communicated daily with some driver influence when possible.
