Corewell Health (formerly Spectrum Health) Rehab and Nursing Center Leffingwell is a brand new 80 bed sub-acute rehabilitation (SAR) facility that provides short term, goal-oriented rehabilitation to individuals after surgery, serious injury or illness. Sub-acute rehabilitation is time limited with the purpose of improving function and discharging the patient home. Recovery will be enhanced by a natural setting with wetlands that provide comfortable, appealing and healing spaces.
The facility will be complemented by a 125-bed facility primarily focused on long-term care which is scheduled to open in 2024. Corewell Health broke ground on nine acres at the corner of Fuller and Cedar Streets in Grand Rapids. The combination of these facilities will enable Corewell Health to offer the community a full continuum of rehab and nursing care in spacious, state-of-the-art facilities specifically designed for that care.
Our Rehab and Nursing Centers have been providing services in West Michigan for 20+ years. Our residents range in age, diversity and acuity levels.
Our typical shifts are as follows for full time opportunities:
Basic Qualifications:
Education – High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire
