B.A.S.S., LLC: Tournament coordinator


This is a Full-time position in Birmingham, MI posted March 13, 2020.

Title: Tournament CoordinatorStatus: Non-Exempt Location: Birmingham, ALReports to: Tournament Manager AdministrationScope of Responsibility:Overseeing the daily operations related to B.A.S.S.

Nation, College, High School and Jr Bassmaster to include, but not limited to, memberships, team contracts, travel, management of registration timelines, tournament scoring, fees, administrative operations, etc.

Essential Functions: Perform of day-to-day administrative operations within the tournament department focusing on B.A.S.S.

Nation tournament trails.Assist in facilitating communication of information regarding B.A.S.S.

tournaments with all on/off-site tournament staff, angler, parents, school advisors, coaches and local B.A.S.S.

Nation officers. Interacting with the above groups to ensure their questions have been answered and needs met.Customer service via phone, email and mail duties in normal course of daily business.Processing of tournament registrations, memberships and fees.Development and maintaining of tournament entry rosters.Lead on-site computer scoring including, but not limited to, set up and maintain live leader board, live video streaming and on site tournament scoring system.Lead on-site tournament administration duties.Maintaining tournament records, rosters, membership numbers, financial reports, club summaries and insurance lists.Assist in the development of creative ways to improve B.A.S.S.

tournament administrative processes and other B.A.S.S.

related activities.Assist with event planning as needed.Oversee prize fulfillment from all tournament series.

This includes collecting of W9’s from individuals, schools and clubs.Administer Casting Kids, JWC, High School Championship scholarship programs and disbursement of scholarship funds.Work with third party company to maintain and update online roster system and registration database to match our membership needs as they grow and change.Processing and set up of new clubs within the online roster systemSpecial projects as neededAbility to travel up to 12 weeks a year. Qualifications: High School Diploma required, some college preferred. Must possess valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to travel. Strong project/organizational skills, verbal communication, attention to detail and computer skills are required. Excellent customer skills are necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
