Extraction Technician

The Solventless Extraction Lead must have some solventless extraction experience and going to be responsible for handling all solventless extraction, storing, and filling on premises and includes:

• Pressing rosin and rosin production
• Keeping track of rosin pressing input/output data
• Oversee rosin lab production (pressing, whipping, curing, crashing) schedule
• Oversight of wash team
• In charge of approving material and helping to source material
• Visiting cultivation locations to check out live material and fresh frozen
• Oversee production management schedule
• Creating the rosin sauce for preparation for vape filling machine
• Overseeing the handling and SOPs of rosin vape hardware filling
• Strong comprehension of all lab equipment (washer, water reservoir, presses, freeze dryers, ice machine, bags, freezers, filling machines and/or packaging equipment, etc.) 

The company already has proven recipes and SOPs in place – not much room for creativity. We are seeking a mechanical-minded individual who will be processing the majority of fresh-frozen material themselves for a limited number of SKUs.  

Recommended to be a Rosin/Hash smoker, to fully comprehend the quality of the production output. 

This is not an entry-level job, but willing to coach and develop those with prior extraction technician experience.

Salary

$20 – $25 USD per hour

Required Skills

• Must be 21+
• Proficient in the use of the METRC tracking system.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations regarding cannabis processing and tracking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Must be mechanically inclined
