Job DescriptionThis career level process engineer position, able to work autonomously with occasional guidance from supervision, will be responsible for a variety of projects and initiatives supporting Global Manufacturing with an emphasis on Manufacturing 4.0 transformation support.

Primary activities include the development of manufacturing business processes, integration of technologies into business functions and coordinating/facilitating discussions with the IT organizations with respect to the business’s IT needs or related initiatives.

Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where creativity and initiative is exercised as well as independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities: * Lead activities in the area of real time location services, building strategies, evaluating technologies and leading projects* Conduct business process assessments identifying opportunities for improvements* Recommend process and system improvements including integration with other functional areas* Development and testing of advanced technology* Execution of proof of concept and pilot projects for new technologies or capabilities* Participate in the planning and development of business justification for IT portfolio projects* Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements for Manufacturing 4.0 strategies* Participate in functional councils and drive consistency in business process initiatives* Monitor and report status of project deliverables to functional councils, stakeholders and leadership* Lead / represent Global Manufacturing business units on various cross functional project teams* Develop high level objectives into executable action plansAdditional Job DescriptionResponsible for supporting activities that may include:(Typically part of a larger effort or project)* SORs and project management for tools, stations or specific technologies.* Manufacturing process definition* Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts* Providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources Required: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience* Leadership skills with ability to motivate and engage teams to deliver actionable results* Project management experience* Knowledgeable of MS Office and content management software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & SharePoint)* Effective verbal, written and presentation skills* Effective interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross functional teams and to positively influence and motivate other team members* High degree of professionalism and integrity* Ability to understand and translate customer business requirements* Self-starter with minimal supervision required* 3
