Software Engineer


This is a Full-time position in Wixom, MI posted March 18, 2023.

Testek Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team!

We are seeking someone with the following skills, but not limited to:

Technical Skills

  • Strong LabVIEW skills, LabVIEW certified (CLAD, CLD, CLA) preferred
  • Hands-on experience on working with instrumentation drivers for data acquisition devices
  • Experience working with instrumentation protocols like GPIB, Serial, Modbus, TCP/IP, USB
  • Familiar with Windows Application Development (WinAPI, external libraries, networking basics)
  • Familiar with C++, LabWindows CVI
  • Familiar with test executive software like NI TestStand
  • Familiar with databases and database management systems like MS SQL server

Electronics and Instrumentation

  • Experience working with Instrumentation hardware (data acquisition systems, transducers, signal conditioning modules, power supplies)
  • Familiar with Control systems
  • Understand sensor calibration, signal conditioning (filtering, averaging, amplification, etc.)
  • Understand Electrical & Hydraulic schematics and Automated Test Equipment layouts and diagrams


  • Experience with developing software using standard Software development life cycle(s)
  • Experience with Configuration Management for software
  • Experience in development of test procedures based on CMMs for test parts
  • Experience with MS Office tools
  • Familiar with project scheduling and estimation of work
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience on Test Systems is required
