The Opportunity

The Technical and Sustain developer is a professional in the data analysis, design, testing, support and debugging platform configurations.

The individual will drive the collaboration with the Scrum team and multiple business partners to maintain and improve system/application performance and stability.

The Work Itself

  • Relationship/Delivery Management with Ally Fraud Business Teams
  • Use technical analysis, knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems
  • Create and maintain documentation of existing processes, procedures and code
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to provide and obtain information, Data Analysis, and to build consensus regarding project direction
  • Support continuity of business and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Assures multi-functional team alignment for technical projects / requirements (Ex.

    Architecture, Platform Delivery)

  • Performs sustain and operational support of Fraud Case Management tool
  • Responsible for releases, and project as it pertains to workstream responsibility and requirements elaboration
  • Understand and apply business concepts to technical solutions through sound business analysis
  • Risk Assessments as applicable
  • Vulnerability Scanning of supported workstream applications, Incident / Problem Management
  • Other duties as defined by management
  • Collaborates with other developers and provides significant contributions to develop specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs.

The Skills You Bring

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in design and deployment of web-based applications and
  • Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
  • Experience in agile development methodology
  • Ability to thoroughly understand the business client requirements and translate them into robust code/configurations
  • Ability to solve, debug and remediate software issues
  • Proven team focus and relationship building
  • Proven organizational ability to manage workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e.

    Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience working with sophisticated and diverse development tools, including SQL DBMS (e.g., Oracle SQL, MS SQL, MySQL), web (e.g., HTML, XML), shell (e.g., bash, Perl), AWS/cloud computing and SalesForce platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing SalesForce Platform
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Familiarity implementing Federal fraud regulations and SAR systems
