Kick off your LPN career early by starting as a Graduate Nurse! The Grad Nurse role allows you to jump-start your LPN orientation by practicing in a limited scope until you pass your boards and become a licensed LPN. Once you become licensed, you will transition into the LPN role, receive an increase in pay and sign on bonus!
Job Summary:
The Graduate Nurse plays a key role in the delivery of caring, competent patient care in conjunction with a mentoring Registered Nurse. Will perform assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner, formulate a goal directed plan of care and implement delegated interdependent and independent direct care activities based on skills learning and clinical training, assessment findings and evaluation of any previous interventions. Collaborates with mentoring nurse on the nursing process, supporting documentation and other items as appropriate. It is expected that Graduate Nurses will successfully obtain certification/licensure from the State of Michigan and transition into a Licensed Practical Nurse role within 120 days.

Basic Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must be in last semester of an approved nursing certification program, successfully graduating by semester’s end.
-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
-LPN required within 120 days
