Insurance Administrative Assistant Apex Financial Services is one of the leading Insurance agencies in Farmington Hills, MI area, that provides a range of insurance products to both Employers and Individuals.

We are seeking a responsible individual to expand our current team to assist with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing additional support to our clients, along with assisting our staff and Insurance Agent in daily office needs and managing general administrative activities.

– $19 per hourPTO, health insurance, and paid holiday Job Responsibilities:Assisting with client accounts and requests.Preparation of materials of presentations for meetings with clients/prospects.Support Insurance Agent, along with other employees as needed.Update and maintain office policies and procedures.Organize and schedule appointments, along with monitoring and responding to the Insurance Agent emails.Assist in creating / preparation of scheduled reports.Maintain contact lists / and client data files.Marketing and advertising for Agent/Agency Candidates must have the following in order to be considered for the position:Previous experience with Life & Health Insurance products preferred.Dependability and ability to follow through with assigned responsibilities.Strong communication and customer service skills.Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Proficiency; Excel / Word / Power Point.1 to 2 years’ experience in Customer Service, Previous Insurance Agency or Office setting experience Preferred but Not Required.Candidate should be a self-motivated individual who works well under pressure as an individual, and as part of a team.Ability to establish priorities and execute them with minimal assistance (once training completed)Strong organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to multi-task daily.Discretion / Confidentiality is a MUST in this position; Knowledge in HIPPA is preferred, but not required. Education / Certificates:College Degree and/or Life/Health License is not required but will be taken into consideration when job offer is presented to the candidate.
